Job summary

Methodist Home for Children Inc. is seeking an Overnight Awake Staff to supervise and support juvenile residents in a group home during overnight hours. The role ensures safety, a healthy environment, and responsive care from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with supervision by the Program Manager.

The position involves a Friday–Saturday night schedule, with a focus on maintaining a secure, nurturing setting for youth in North Carolina.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• High school diploma and experience working with youth or vulnerable populations.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide awake coverage from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., ensuring a secure and supportive environment for juvenile residents.
• Support youth safety and well-being during overnight hours under the Program Manager.

What You’ll Do:

Under the direction of the Program Manager, you'll provide awake coverage from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., ensuring a secure, healthy, and supportive environment for our juvenile residents.

Available Shift:

Full-time: Friday - Saturday nights (10:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.)

What You’ll Need:

• At least 21 years old
• High school diploma and experience working with youth or vulnerable populations
