PFC Safeguards is hiring an Armed Residential Security Agent to provide security at designated residences in the Austin, Texas area. The role emphasizes protection of life and property, with overnight 12-hour shifts and a competitive $45–$55 hourly rate.

Candidates must have a TX Level III license and a passport for the tenure period. The position requires vigilance, strong communication with clients, and the ability to operate independently or as part of a security team.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma; some college or a degree preferred.
• 4–5 years of security-related experience required.
• Valid US state driver's license required at hire and throughout employment.
• Valid US passport required during tenure.
• Ability to multi-task and organize workload.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite/MS 365.
• Must have TX Commissioned Security Officer License Level III; Level IV (PPO) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide residential security to protect clients and property.
• Maintain perimeter security to deter unauthorized access.
• Screen visitors and control access per procedures and client direction.
• Monitor for intrusion and respond to alarms or disturbances.
• Coordinate with public safety and first responders when needed.
• Protect principals and client assets; conduct security checks.
• Adjust security posture as conditions change and assess risks.
• Communicate professionally with clients and families; maintain discretion.
