Job summary

The University of Iowa in Iowa City is seeking a Clinical Technician III to support anesthesia providers across multiple ORs and satellite areas. The role covers pre, intra, and post-procedure duties with a Sunday–Thursday night schedule (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM).

Responsibilities include maintaining anesthesia areas, ensuring proper equipment for cases, preparing IV solutions and invasive monitoring lines, and upholding team-oriented values.

Qualifications

• Three years of health care experience involving direct patient care and use/maintenance of specialized medical equipment, with at least one year at Clinical Technician II or equivalent.
• Ability to assemble and prepare IV solutions and invasive monitoring lines.
• Must be able to work Sunday-Thursday night shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain anesthesia service areas in readiness for cases.
