Acadia Healthcare is seeking a PRN Admissions Counselor for Sonora Behavioral Health in Tucson, AZ. You will guide patients and families through the admissions process, coordinate with clinical teams, and ensure appropriate insurance authorizations are secured.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field required (state approval varies).
• Master’s degree in a social services field preferred (psychology, counseling, social work, sociology, health administration, nursing).
• 1+ year of mental/behavioral health experience preferred in clinical or observational settings.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to inquiries about the facility within policy timeframes.
• Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Perform benefit eligibility to verify active patient benefits at admission.
• Coordinate admission/transfer between referrals and levels of care.
• Schedule pre-admission assessments and communicate disposition recommendations.
