Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking an ACTT On-Call Response Specialist to provide after-hours crisis intervention in Asheville, NC. You will support ACTT participants experiencing behavioral health or psychiatric crises, using active listening and de-escalation skills to promote safety.

This full-time role offers night shifts (Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM) with pay of $24.50 per hour and opportunities to collaborate with licensed clinicians, hospitals, and community resources while maintaining

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health or crisis intervention preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required as applicable.
• Valid driver’s license if driving is required.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct after-hours crisis response.
• Use crisis de-escalation techniques.
• Review crisis plans to guide responses.
• Coordinate with ACTT team and providers.
• Escalate to licensed clinicians when needed.
• Document calls and referrals accurately.
• Maintain confidentiality and safety.
