Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Driver in Jacksonville, FL. In this role, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access and provide excellent service to employees and visitors at a manufacturing and industrial site.

Responsibilities include patrolling, responding to alarms, and maintaining logs while using access control technology. A valid driver's license is required for driving positions, and you will join a team that prioritizes

Qualifications

A valid driver's license is required.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
Minimum age 18 (unarmed) / 21+ (armed)
Background check and drug screen may be required

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and direct authorized individuals.
Observe access control systems, report suspicious activity, and escalate concerns.
Respond to incidents and alarms, document observations, and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct patrols of entrances and perimeter, report hazards or damaged access points
