Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Access Control Driver) in Longwood, FL. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, assist employees and visitors, and maintain an orderly environment at an automotive location.

This role combines security duties with driving responsibilities and uses the Claim a Shift platform to build a flexible schedule. The position requires a valid driver’s license, background screening, and drug test compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• State/local licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and guests at an automotive business location while carrying out security procedures and emergency responses.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and guest authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals.
• Control entry/exit of vehicles and personnel, observe gate activity, report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document activities in required reports.
• Conduct regular patrols of access areas, parking, facilities and perimeter to deter security incidents.
