Job summary

Amarr in Mocksville, NC is hiring an Overlay Assembler to build custom residential and commercial garage doors. You will read blueprints, follow work orders, and use hand and power tools to assemble components to engineering specs.

This role requires attention to detail, safety, and the ability to work 7am–5:30pm Monday-Thursday. You will participate in quality checks and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced, industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, diagrams, and specifications.
• Use hand and power tools safely to assemble components.
• Maintain attention to detail and ensure high-quality work.
• Follow safety policies and work instructions consistently.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble custom garage door components using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and other production equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, diagrams, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly.
• Measure, cut, fit, drill, and fasten materials according to design requirements.
• Install hardware, overlays, trim, and other door components as required.
• Complete assemblies efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards and production targets.
