Job summary

Gregory Electric Company, Inc. is seeking a Utility Lighting Installer to construct, maintain, and repair overhead and underground lighting distribution systems. You will perform pre-job planning, identify voltages, and operate bucket trucks to support safe distribution work.

The role requires reading blueprints, following OSHA standards, and collaborating with teams while traveling within Gregory Electric’s territory. Physical work and outdoor conditions are common in this role.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Understand grounding and equipment setup.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Operate bucket truck safely.
• Uphold OSHA standards for energized work.

Responsibilities

• Plan pre-job activities from prints and work orders.
• Identify voltages and underground pulling equipment.
• Maintain and operate vehicles and tools safely.
• Perform excavation and use hand/power tools.
• Follow safety protocols and protective equipment.
