Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Overhead Transmission Project Engineer in Boise, ID. You will lead an engineering design team on 69kV–500kV projects, mentor engineers, and serve as the client’s primary technical contact.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license, has 7+ years of project engineering experience, and demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. This role requires scheduling and budgeting proficiency and familiarity with PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university and 7 years of direct project engineering experience.
• Professional engineering license (PE).
• Ability to effectively lead project teams and strong written/verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in scheduling and budgeting.
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE.
• Consulting or utility experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership for an overhead transmission design team on 69kV–500kV projects.
• Mentor, coach and develop team members.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for the client.
• Implement quality control processes across deliverables.
• Support proposal development and bidding activities.
• Coordinate project requirements and schedules across disciplines.
• Identify and communicate technical risks.
• Oversee production work to meet milestones.
• Develop and share processes/tools to increase team efficiency.
