Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator to support the construction and maintenance of overhead power distribution systems. You will operate heavy equipment, support line-workers, and assist in storm restoration efforts, while prioritizing safety and teamwork.

You must be able to lift 50 lbs, read/write effectively, obtain a Commercial Driver’s License within 60 days, and be willing to travel and work overtime as required. The role is based in Fort Worth, TX on site.

Qualifications

• Able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License permit within 60 days of employment.
• Able to operate heavy equipment used in powerline construction.
• Able to travel long distances on short notice when required.
• Able to read/write and communicate effectively.
• Able to work for extended periods in various locations and lift >50 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime and on weekends/holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles and heavy equipment in a professional manner.
• Assist fellow line-workers to meet project objectives.
• Join storm restoration efforts as needed.
• Maintain safety and quality while performing tasks.
