Job summary

Pike Electric LLC in Milton, FL is seeking a Class B Lineman who will construct and repair overhead distribution systems, working on energized and de-energized lines and traveling to job sites as needed. You must be safety‑minded, physically capable, hold a valid CDL, and be willing to work outages, storms, and overtime, including weekends and holidays.

The role involves climbing structures, operating bucket trucks and other line equipment, and collaborating with the Foreman to keep utilities

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of recent overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Willing to work outside normal hours including weekends, holidays and overtime.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems, following safety protocols.
• Work on energized and de-energized lines and use proper tools and equipment.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers.
• Travel to and work at various job sites, including out‑of‑state locations.
• Perform live-line work using gloves and hot-stick techniques as required.
