Job summary

Pike Electric LLC in Florida is seeking a Class B Lineman focused on safety to construct and repair overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines and may travel to different job sites as needed.

You will climb structures, operate bucket trucks and other equipment, perform live-line work and follow safety protocols. Willingness to work outages, storms, and on-call rotations is required.

Qualifications

• Three years of overhead line experience.
• Valid CDL required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work at height.
• Able to work outdoors in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain and repair overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair power lines, poles and insulators.
• Perform switching, grounding, and voltage checks safely.
• Climb structures using approved methods and PPE.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks and related equipment.
• Work outages, storms, and emergencies including on-call rotation.
• Perform live-line work with gloves and hot-sticks techniques.
