Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking an entry-level Class C Lineman to construct and repair electrical overhead distribution systems. You will handle energized and de-energized lines and may travel to various job sites, including out-of-state locations, under the direction of the Foreman.

The role requires climbing structures, operating bucket trucks and other equipment, and readiness for outages, storms and emergencies while maintaining safety and teamwork at all times.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of relevant field experience.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair energized and de-energized overhead distribution systems while prioritizing safety.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment; work at heights and near energized equipment.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks and other overhead line equipment; respond to outages and emergencies.
