Job summary

Pike Electric LLC in Westminster, SC seeks a Class A Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to different job sites and report to the Foreman.

Safety is a core priority: you will lead safety briefings, mentor apprentices, install and repair lines, and operate bucket trucks and related equipment. A minimum of five years’ overhead line experience and a valid CDL are required; willingness to work overtime and outages

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours including weekends, holidays, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair energized and de-energized overhead distribution systems with safety first.
• Lead crew members in the absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks and other equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and respond to outages or emergencies.
