Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines and may travel to out-of-state sites as needed. You will report to the Foreman and contribute to a strong safety culture.

The role requires five years of overhead line experience, a valid CDL, and willingness to travel. Expect long hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and on-call rotations in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid CDL.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal hours, including weekends, holidays, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Lead crew in absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Follow switching, tagging, grounding and voltage safety procedures.
