Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to build and maintain overhead distribution systems, working on energized and de-energized lines. You will travel to various job sites, including out-of-state locations, reporting to the Foreman.

The role involves training apprentices, leading crews when needed, and performing live-line work with proper PPE and equipment. Expect outdoor work in diverse weather, outages, emergencies, and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Five years of overhead line experience required.
• Safety focused with PPE and high safety standards.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Able to work outages, storms, emergencies, and on-call rotations.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at height in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems on energized and de-energized lines.
• Lead crew in absence of supervisor; perform pre-job safety briefings.
• Train apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair poles, insulators, conductors and hardware.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques.
