Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems. The role involves working on energized and de-energized lines and traveling to various job sites as needed.

This safety-focused position requires climbing structures, operating bucket trucks and other equipment, and being available for outages, storms, and on-call work. A valid CDL and 3 years of overhead line experience are required.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays and during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems with safety as a priority.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Perform live-line work using approved gloves and hot-stick techniques.
• Climb structures (wood, steel, concrete) and work at heights.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers.
