Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class C Lineman to construct and repair electrical overhead distribution systems. This entry-level role involves working on energized or de-energized lines, with travel to various job sites as needed.

You will report to the Foreman and join a team dedicated to safety and reliability. Responsibilities include live-line work with proper PPE, climbing structures, and operating heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant field experience.
• Valid CDL required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work out-of-state locations.
• Must work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems with safety first.
• Install and repair overhead lines, poles, insulators, conductors and hardware.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Work at heights and around energized equipment.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers.
• Work outdoors in varying conditions including extreme weather.
• Participate in outages, storms and on-call rotations.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques including fault locating.
• Follow safety protocols including PPE and insulated protection.
