Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class C Lineman to safely construct and repair overhead distribution systems. This entry-level role involves working on energized and de-energized lines, climbing structures, and traveling to various job sites as needed.

You will perform live-line work with appropriate PPE, operate bucket trucks, and support outage responses, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of relevant field experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Climb different structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Work at heights near energized equipment and in confined spaces.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and outages.
• Perform live-line work using PPE such as gloves and hot sticks.
• Follow all safety protocols including PPE usage.
