Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to construct, repair and upgrade overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, climb structures, and operate bucket trucks and related equipment while adhering to safety protocols.

The role requires at least three years of overhead line experience, a valid CDL, and willingness to travel long distances on short notice. Outages, storms, and emergency calls may require on-call work and overtime.

Qualifications

• Three years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work outside normal hours.
• Comfort with live-line work and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles and hardware.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques.
• Climb structures and work at heights.
• Operate bucket trucks and related equipment.
• Work outages, storms and emergencies including on-call duties.
