Job summary

River City Construction is seeking an Overhead 3rd Class Lineman to support construction and maintenance of overhead electrical distribution and service lines. Responsibilities include working at heights on poles, ladders, and towers, following safety rules, and assisting in energized and de-energized tasks.

The role requires 1+ years of experience, a High School diploma or equivalent, and a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in utility or construction work.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel and work in multiple locations.
• English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Work safely while assisting in the construction or maintenance of energized and de-energized overhead lines.
• Support installation or removal of overhead conductors, transformers, and related equipment.
• Frame, install, or remove wood, steel, or concrete poles and supports.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, PPE, and tools in good working order.
• Contribute to the Pre-Job Briefing.
