Job summary

Pike Electric LLC in Texas is seeking a Foreman to lead an energized overhead distribution crew, manage safety, and ensure quality on construction and repair projects. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to job sites as needed, and report to the General Foreman.

The role requires five years of overhead line experience, a valid CDL, and willingness to travel. You will coach crew members, supervise work, and perform live-line procedures with proper PPE and tools.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of overhead line experience.
• Proficient in basic computer operations including Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work for extended periods at job locations, including out-of-state assignments.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Oversee work to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Perform live-line work using approved gloving and hot-stick techniques.
• Provide coaching and training of lower classification employees in safe procedures.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers.
