Job summary

PIKE Electric is seeking a safety‑driven Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing overhead distribution systems. This role involves working on energized and de-energized lines, traveling to multiple job sites, and reporting to the General Foreman.

You will coach junior staff, ensure safety compliance, and manage project quality and timelines. The ideal candidate has five years of overhead line experience, a valid CDL, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Five years of overhead line experience is required.
• CDL is required for the role.
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.
• Ability to coach and train lower classification employees in safe procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Oversee project work and ensure quality and deadlines.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and respond to outages and emergencies.
