Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing overhead electrical distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, with travel to various job sites as needed, reporting to the General Foreman.

The role requires safety leadership, at least five years of overhead line experience, a valid CDL, and the ability to work out-of-town, weekends, and on-call shifts. Equipment operation and live-line procedures are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Five years of overhead line experience required.
• Proficient with basic computer applications (Microsoft Word, etc.).
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Ability to lift, carry or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Oversee project quality and ensure completion deadlines.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Perform live-line work using approved gloves and hot-stick techniques.
