Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a safety‑focused Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing electrical overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de‑energized lines, travel to multiple sites as needed, and report to the General Foreman.

The role requires five years of overhead line experience, CDL, and strong leadership for training and safety. Expect outdoor work across various conditions and potential on‑call rotations, with compensation aligned to market standards.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of overhead line experience.
• Proficient in basic computer operations including Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair energized and de-energized overhead distribution systems while putting safety first.
• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Coach and train lower classification employees in safe and productive work procedures.
• Oversee work on each project and ensure quality and deadlines.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Follow switching and tagging procedures, grounding and induced voltage on energized and de-energized lines with proper tools and test equipment.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying conditions including extreme heat, cold, rain, wind, and storms.
• Available to work outages, emergencies and on-call rotations.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques and troubleshoot faults.
• Follow all safety protocols including PPE use and insulated protective equipment.
