Job summary

Pike Electric LLC seeks a safety-focused Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized powerlines and may travel to different job sites as needed. Report to the General Foreman.

Responsibilities include coaching crew, conducting pre-job safety briefings, and ensuring quality and on-time project completion with live-line work and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• Five years of recent overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and basic Office applications.
• Coaching and training lower classification employees in safe work procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques on energized lines.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Oversee project work ensuring quality and timely completion deadlines.
• Travel to multiple job sites, including out-of-state locations, as required by operations.
