AUI Power is seeking an entry-level Overhead Groundhand to support linemen and equipment operators in installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead power lines. The role emphasizes physical work outdoors, safety, and teamwork on a crew.

Responsibilities include loading materials, preparing poles, assisting with line installation, and ensuring a clean, safe job site. Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a CDL within 150 days are required.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina required for demanding construction duties.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools used in line work.
• Strong safety awareness and compliance with OSHA standards.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a line crew.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials for the job site.
• Dig holes and trenches for poles, anchors, and conduit; backfill afterward.
