Job summary

Primoris T&D in Lancaster, SC is seeking an experienced Overhead Distribution Foreman to supervise field crews performing construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead electrical distribution systems. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with company and customer standards.

The role requires at least 5 years as an Overhead Distribution Journeyman Lineman with prior supervisory experience and a valid Class A CDL.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Lineman apprenticeship preferred.
• Minimum 5 years as an Overhead Distribution Journeyman Lineman.
• At least 2 years in a Foreman or supervisory role in overhead distribution.
• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Experience with bucket trucks, digger derricks and heavy equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; knowledge of OSHA/NESC safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise crew performing overhead distribution work and coordinate activities.
• Ensure work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
• Plan daily activities, scheduling personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Interpret blueprints and work orders for accurate task execution.
• Lead daily safety briefings and hazard analyses; implement corrective actions.
• Train crew on procedures, safety, and equipment operation.
• Operate/maintain utility equipment and perform hands-on tasks.
• Inspect progress and completed work for quality and compliance.
• Maintain records of work, materials, and crew hours; report to management.
• Communicate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders; respond to emergencies.
