Job summary

Primoris T&D Services, LLC in Lancaster, South Carolina, seeks an experienced Overhead Distribution Foreman to supervise field crews performing construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead lines. You will ensure work is safe, efficient, and compliant with standards.

Responsibilities include planning daily work, interpreting blueprints, training crew members, and coordinating with project managers. A strong background in distribution systems and CDL is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Overhead Distribution Journeyman Lineman.
• At least 2 years in a Foreman or supervisory role in overhead distribution.
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical distribution systems, construction methods, and safety regulations (OSHA, NESC).
• Proficiency with bucket trucks, digger derricks, and other heavy machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and coordinate the activities of a crew in overhead line construction, maintenance, and repair.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Plan and organize daily work activities, including scheduling personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Interpret blueprints and work orders to ensure accurate task execution.
• Train and mentor crew members on procedures and safety practices.
• Respond to emergencies and outages as needed.
• Maintain records of work performed, materials used, and crew hours.
