Job summary

Konecranes is seeking an Industrial Technician to join our service team in the United States. You will troubleshoot and repair overhead cranes and hoists, conduct inspections, and support customers at various locations with a focus on safety and uptime.

The role requires electrical and mechanical skills, willingness to travel, and the ability to work at heights. Compensation includes a competitive hourly rate, company vehicle, and broad benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; associate degree preferred or relevant vocational training.
• 1 year minimum electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair experience.
• willingness to travel and work off the ground; valid driver’s license; overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead cranes and hoists at customer sites.
• Provide on-call service as part of a rotation; after-hours support.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site.
• Perform post-repair safety audits and document findings.
• Recommend corrective actions and safety improvements to customers.
• Produce electronic service reports and obtain customer signatures.
• Stay updated on OSHA/ANSI/CMAA/HMI codes and regulations.
• Maintain company-issued vehicles and equipment; report deficiencies.
• Communicate with Field Operations Manager and Service Coordinator.
• Assist with safety meetings and on-site risk assessments.
