Job summary

Trinity Products in Kansas City, KS is hiring a Warehouse Laborer who will also serve as an Overhead Crane Operator on 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00am - 3:30pm). You will stage, load, and unload steel plate materials, assist in assembly and light fabrication, and operate cranes to move heavy loads.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, familiarity with cutting tools, and experience with overhead cranes. Strong team players with good communication skills are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or a strong combination of work experience and practical skills.
• 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Comfortable using cutting torches, plasma cutters and various hand tools.
• Ability to use a tape measure effectively.
• Experience operating overhead or stationary cranes, preferably 30-ton capacity.
• Familiarity with mobile or heavy equipment such as forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to operate and maintain hoisting attachments such as hooks, slings, electromagnets, and buckets.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Stage, load, and unload steel plate materials to keep operations flowing smoothly.
• Support general assembly and light fabrication tasks including cutting, troubleshooting and working with machinery (cutting torch, track torch, circular saw).
• Perform visual inspections when receiving new materials into the warehouse.
• Operate 15/20/30-ton overhead bridge cranes to move, lift, and position loads.
• Use hoisting attachments such as hooks, slings, electromagnets as needed.
• Respond to verbal/written/signal instructions to move loads safely.
• Perform daily crane and lifting device inspections to ensure safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and assist team as needed.
