Job summary

Metals USA is seeking a Warehouse Worker for the 1st shift at our Liberty, MO location. The role involves locating finished products, filling orders, packaging items, and moving goods using conveyors, stackers, and cranes.

You will coordinate with the shipping process and ensure products are prepared for dispatch. Key duties include operating a forklift and overhead crane, identifying defects, and maintaining accuracy in packaging.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate
• Basic math skills
• Fluency in English
• Ability to read measuring tapes and calipers
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail
• Warehouse experience preferred
• Must have Forklift and overhead crane experience
• Experience working with Heavy Equipment preferred

Responsibilities

• Locate finished products in the first step process
• Fill orders
• Package product
• Scale and tag product
• Operate plant packaging equipment (conveyors, stackers, down enders, and banders)
• Transport items to the warehouse for shipment
• Operate overhead crane and forklift to move product
• Identify defects and package designated items
• May perform other duties as assigned
