Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, seeks an overhead crane operator for a manufacturing environment. The role involves safely operating a crane to pour concrete into molds, identify forms, and maintain equipment while supporting safe handling of heavy precast components.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of related experience, and willingness to work on the production floor as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Willingness to also work as a laborer on the production floor.
• Excellent depth perception and coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an overhead crane to pour concrete into molds and strip concrete pieces weighing up to 20 tons.
• Properly identify forms and products and ensure safe handling of concrete pieces.
• Maintain pre-operation checklist and inspection.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
