Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is hiring an Equipment and Machine Operator to perform a range of duties in an indoor manufacturing environment. The role focuses on safely operating an overhead crane, pouring concrete into molds, and inspecting products to ensure quality in a precast plant.

You will identify forms, follow pre-operation checklists, assist on the production floor as needed, and maintain equipment and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Willingness to work on the production floor as needed.
• Excellent depth perception and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an overhead crane to pour concrete into molds and strip concrete pieces weighing up to 20 tons or more.
• Properly identify forms and products and ensure safe handling of concrete pieces.
• Maintain pre-operation checklist and inspection.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
