Job summary

Eaton Corporation’s ES AMER ESS division seeks a Crane Operator on 2nd shift to support the Lincoln Avenue production line. The role requires operating a 25-ton overhead crane and coordinating with painters, assemblers, and material handlers to maximize productivity.

Shift runs 3pm–11pm with competitive hourly pay and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Benefits include health coverage, paid holidays, weekly pay, and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of overhead crane experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• No relocation; reside within 50 miles of Waukesha, WI facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate the 25-ton overhead crane and support painting, ovens and tooling tasks.
• Assist Final Assemblers with bolted cover assembly, cabinet installation and throat installation.
• Determine parts to kit for Final Assembly and assemble kits; unload/retrieve tanks and cabinets.
• Build pallets per specifications and shrink wrap transformers.
• Operate material handling equipment including walkies, forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Assist Welders with building covers, leak testing and crane operation.
• Serve as back-up to Material Attendants to unload interplant trucks and deliver materials to Final Assembly.
