Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Texas is seeking a Production Scheduler to coordinate the flow of products through the full production cycle and release work orders to the shop. You will monitor KPI’s and collaboration across functions to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience with ERP systems, data gathering and analysis, and strong planning skills. This is an onsite, five‑day‑a‑week role with no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in production systems (ERP, excel, MS applications) in a manufacturing or remanufacturing environment.
  • Data gathering and analysis knowledge to synthesize information from multiple sources.
  • Ability to follow data policies and report problems in data collection.
  • Understanding of global business considerations and planning at multiple horizons.
  • Strong communication for feedback, presentations, and reporting.
  • Ability to coordinate work across teams and address production variances.
  • Knowledge of forecasting tools and production scheduling practices.
  • Experience with scheduling and controlling daily production runs.

Responsibilities

  • Schedules work for production and monitors flow through the cycle.
  • Coordinates inventory to support scheduled work.

Coordinate the necessary inventory to support the work scheduled.Analyzing and troubleshooting planned production scheduling problems.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to incorporate customer and business requirements.
