Job summary

American Furniture Warehouse is looking for a Class A CDL OTR Driver to deliver and pickup goods nationwide from its Glendale, AZ area operations. The role emphasizes safety, on-time performance, and adherence to FMCSA standards.

The position offers home weekly, weekly payroll, and comprehensive benefits including medical, PTO and a 401(k). Most loads are drop and hook with no-touch freight on 98% of trips; orientation is paid, and dogs are allowed.

Qualifications

• CDL with at least one year of recent OTR experience.
• No major FMCSA violations.
• Clean MVR with no at-fault DOT reportable accidents in last 3 years.
• Must reside within 100 miles of an AFW distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products in a safe, timely and accurate manner.
• Operate 53' dry Vans.
• Use of electronic logging device (ELD).
• Report vehicle problems and defects to maintenance.
• Comply with DOT standards and maintain a good driving record.

Job description

As a Class A CDL OTR Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and pickup of goods at various locations across the country.The ideal Class A CDL OTR Driveradheres to American Furniture Warehouse’s quality expectations and safety standards.

• HOME WEEKLY with 34-48 hours of home time.
• Weekly payroll.
• Average yearly pay is between $85,000 to $130,000 per year.

• Most of our loads is drop and hook; 98% no-touch freight, Trips are pre-planned/scheduled.
• Paid orientation.
• Dogs are allowed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivering our products in a safe, timely and accurate manner.
• Operate 53' dry Vans
• use of electronic logging device, ELD
• Report any vehicle problems and defects to the on-site truck maintenance department.
• Comply with all state, local and national Department of Transportation standards and regulations while maintaining a good driving record.

Qualifications:

• Must have a CDL with at least one year of recent OTR experience with similar equipment.
• No major FMCSA violations.
• Clean MVR with no at-fault D.O.T reportable accidents within the last three years.
• Must have no restriction on CDL and be able to maintain a CDL.

Must be based / live within 100 miles of an AFW Distribution Center

Computer Skills:

Basic computer skills required.

Certificates and Licenses:

Class A CDL without restrictions.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED preferred
