Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking professional truck drivers for nationwide OTR runs. Operate a tractor-trailer, deliver freight to stores nationwide, and maintain strict safety and DOT compliance. Expect 75% Drop & Hook and no-touch freight for efficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license.
• Minimum 1 year of all-weather CDL A driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no major accidents.
• No alcohol or drug-related driving convictions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor with a 53-foot van trailer across regions nationwide.
• Deliver freight from distribution centers to stores and depots.
• Complete routes with 75% Drop & Hook freight.
• Maintain compliance with ELD, DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• All other duties as assigned.

What You\'ll Do

• Operate a tractor with a 53-foot van trailer throughout designated regions across the country.
• Deliver freight from distribution centers to stores and depots.
• Complete routes consisting of 75% Drop & Hook freight, allowing you to spend more time driving and less time waiting.
• Maintain compliance with ELD requirements, vehicle inspections, DOT regulations, and company safety standards.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure equipment is operated safely.
• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL License
