Job summary

Applied Aerospace and Defense - White Salmon is seeking an Oven Operator I to support curing of composite components. You will prep parts, load them into ovens, monitor cycles, and perform post-process tasks per work instructions. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and learning foundational thermal processing skills.

The position is entry-level with no aerospace experience required. Expect indoor production, PPE provided, and opportunities for growth within a high-tech aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Detail oriented with multitasking ability.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to learn technical manufacturing processes.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prep & Load: clean, verify part numbers, load parts onto racks per instructions.
• Oven Processing: start and monitor curing cycles, note time/temperature, report issues.
• Unload & Post-Process: remove probes, clean parts, move to next workflow stage.
• Quality & Safety: wear PPE, keep area clean, support standard work and teamwork.
• Documentation: enter accurate data in manufacturing logs.
