Job summary

Collins Aerospace Carbon Operations in Spokane, WA is looking for an entry-level Furnace Deck Operator I to run high-temperature furnaces, load/unload parts, and monitor process temperatures while ensuring product quality and safety. You will operate cranes and forklifts, support automation, document data, and participate in a 4-on/4-off, 12-hour shift cycle with day/night changes every 6 weeks.

A high school diploma or GED and hand tools experience are required, with manufacturing experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience using hand tools required.

Responsibilities

• Operate furnaces for carbon vapor deposition and monitor process temperatures.
• Maneuver cranes, forklifts and other equipment to assist in production.
• Support automated robot systems and troubleshoot mechanical or process issues.
• Adhere to EH&S regulations and maintain safety protocols.
• Complete data entry and process monitoring with basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Lift up to 25 lbs; assist with heavier lifts.
• Follow a 4-on/4-off, 12-hour rotating shift schedule (day/night every 6 weeks).
