Michael Foods, Inc. in Norwalk, IA is hiring for a production operator to operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and sanitize oven and production equipment.

This role works 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotation (C shift) and requires adherence to GMPs and food safety standards. Responsibilities include equipment setup, quality checks, freezer monitoring, sanitation, and troubleshooting to ensure on-time production and product quality.

Qualifications

• Prior related experience and/or training.
• Intermediate level of computer/technological skills.

Responsabilités

• Set up and clean equipment prior to scheduled start time to ensure on time start-ups.
• Perform quality checks on product and record information to meet specifications.
• Monitor spiral freezer operations and correct ice buildup to maximize quality.
• Perform sanitation duties as required to restore operation within target time.
• Troubleshoot equipment not running effectively.
• Adhere to GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions and report safety concerns.
• Follow all safety policies and ensure food safety and quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
