Job summary

The role reports to the Sales Manager and blends strategic planning with hands-on execution.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred (B.A., B.S.) or five years related industry experience.
• Outside sales experience in an industrial setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in industrial environments.
• Experience with welding gases or related industry is a plus.
• Excellent organization and time management abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 pounds and operate basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Grow territory business by selling compressed gas products and welding supplies to new and existing customers.
• Develop and execute plans to maintain and grow the current customer base.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and project scope with customers.
• Use Outlook, TIMS, or designated platforms for planning and time management.
• Build long-term relationships with strategic customers and develop a sales portfolio.
• Respond to customer issues and maintain a strong safety culture; meet management goals.
