The Westin Kierland Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ is hiring an Outside Services Attendant to support clubhouse upkeep, cart operations, and guest services. You will help with tournaments, golf cart prep, and club rentals while delivering courteous guest service on a fast-paced property.

Required: high school diploma or GED and 6–12 months of customer service experience; reliable attendance. This Troon-managed site offers healthcare and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Regular and reliable attendance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with upkeep of clubhouse, cart storage area and parking lot.
• Set up and assist in golf tournaments and outings.
• Provide courteous service, assist with bag handling and club cleaning.
• Maintain cart staging, podium and bag drop areas in order.
• Prepare golf carts for play following Troon Golf standards.
• Educate players on course policies, cart policy and pace of play.
• Assist players by changing golf spikes if needed.
• Perform range maintenance and manage ball inventory.
• Direct start of play when necessary and record golfers renting clubs.
• Serve customers renting clubs and clean rental clubs after use.
• Assist with food and beverage activities and club cleaning.
• Adopt safe work practices; perform other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities of the Outside Services Attendant:

• Assists with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area and parking lot.
• Assists in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning.
• Maintains the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area.
• Maintains the cart storage area and cart wash down area in a neat, clean and orderly condition.
• Prepares golf carts for play following the standards of Troon Golf.
• Assists in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, speed of play and so forth.
• Assists players by changing their golf spikes, if needed.
• Performs range maintenance such as: presenting practice facility with practice balls, bag stands, den caddies and/or ball pyramids, and maintains ball inventory over the course of the day.
• Directs start of play when necessary.
• Maintains accurate records of golfers renting clubs.
• Services the customer who is renting golf clubs and cleans rental clubs upon return.
• Assists with food and beverage activities.
• Cleans golfers' clubs upon completion of play.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications of the Outside Services Attendant:

• HighSchool Diploma or GED; andsix months to a year customer serviceexperience or training.

Other Qualifications:

• Regular and reliable attendance.
