Job summary

New Berlin Hills Golf Course in New Berlin, Wisconsin, is seeking a part-time Outside Service Attendant to support members and guests and contribute to a positive experience while learning golf club operations. As an associate of Troon Golf, LLC, you will help maintain facilities and assist with services around the course.

The position is seasonal (up to 6 months) and pays $10.00 per hour. You will be involved in clubhouse upkeep, cart handling, tournament support, and guest services, gaining

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, with six months to one year of customer service experience or training.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Seasonal, part-time role lasting 6 months or less.

Responsibilities

• Assists with upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area, and parking lot.
• Assists in setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provides courteous service to guests with bag handling and club cleaning.
• Maintains cart staging area, podium, and bag drop area.
• Maintains cart storage and cart wash-down areas in good condition.
• Prepares golf carts for play following Troon standards.
• Educates players on course policy, cart policy, and pace of play.
• Assists players with changing spikes as needed.
• Performs range maintenance and manages practice facility supplies.
• Directs start of play when necessary.

New Berlin Hills Golf Course, located in New Berlin, WI, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Outside Service Attendant! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Pay:

$10.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area, and parking lot.
• Assists in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning.
• Maintains the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area.
• Maintains the cart storage area and cart wash-down area in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
• Prepares golf carts for play following the standards of Troon.
• Assists in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, and speed of play.
• Assists players by changing their golf spikes, if needed.
• Performs range maintenance, including presenting the practice facility with practice balls, bag stands, den caddies, or ball pyramids, and maintaining ball inventory over the course of the day.
• Directs the start of play when necessary.
• Maintains accurate records of golfers renting clubs.
• Services customers renting golf clubs and cleans rental clubs upon return.
• Assists with food and beverage activities.
• Cleans golfers' clubs upon completion of play.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED; and six months to one year of customer service experience or training.

Certificates/Licenses:

Valid driver's license required.
