Job summary

Williams Form Engineering Corp. is seeking an Outside Sales representative based out of our Kent, WA facility. The role focuses on generating sales with existing customers and developing new opportunities within the region.

Primary responsibilities include visiting customers, providing quotes, opening new accounts, and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge. Strong communication and driving to client sites are essential. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k, and auto allowance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of concrete construction or heavy construction is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand work-related material.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer relations.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and visit customers to review product needs and opportunities.
• Provide product quotes as required.
• Open new accounts.
• Continuously update customers on product changes and new products.
• Provide solutions to customer concerns.
• Liaison between customers and the company for up-to-date status of services, pricing, and new products.
• Prepare reports for marketing and sales.
• Maintain and update customer accounts, including contact names for future sales.
• Keep up to date on new products, services, procedures, and tools by attending training and departmental meetings.
• Perform jobsite technical assistance when needed.
• Keep track of and manage orders, including change orders, returns, and credit requests.

This position is responsible for generating sales with existing customers in addition to developing new customer opportunities.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent


• Product knowledge or industry experience an asset, including concrete construction, precast, and related aspects of heavy construction


• Ability to read and understand work-related material


• Effective written and verbal communication skills; exceptional customer relations


• Valid Drivers License and dependable transportation required


• US Citizen or Green Card holder

Working Conditions

• Physical requirements of sitting, standing, and walking


• May require considerable visual attention to detail


• Moderate travel to various locations within the region
