Job Overview

We are seeking 1 highly motivated Technical Sales Representative to lead sales efforts and expand our presence in the electric utility market, specifically the East Coast (east of Ohio). This role requires a deep understanding of the electric utility industry, strong technical aptitude, and a proven track record in B2B sales. You will collaborate with utility companies to deliver tailored line patrol solutions powered by AI that address reliability and fire risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the electric utility sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including utility executives, engineers, and decision-makers.
  • Identify customer needs and present Fast Forward’s AI solutions to drive adoption and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
  • Represent Fast Forward at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Sales focus includes both Direct and Channel partners.

Qualifications

  • Required: Direct experience working in the electric utility industry (e.g., utility operations, engineering, or sales).
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in technology or SaaS solutions.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate complex solutions to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and close high-value deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 50%).
