Job summary

Aebi Schmidt Group is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for Southwest Florida (Sarasota, Charlotte, DeSoto, Hardee, Highlands, Manatee, Pinellas). You will cultivate customer relationships, demonstrate product knowledge in emergency vehicle upfitting, and prepare quotations for parts and labor.

Requires 2+ years of sales experience, travel to meet customers regularly, and familiarity with Salesforce/PLEX ERP tools; full-time with benefits, including health coverage.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience.
• Ability to demonstrate product knowledge in emergency vehicle equipment.
• Experience with Salesforce and ERP software preferred.
• Willingness to travel throughout Florida and attend trade shows.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate existing customer relationships and develop new ones.

Outside Sales Representative - SW Florida

What you’ll do:

Emergency Vehicle Equipment – Outside Sales Representative. Strobes-R-Us. Southwest / South Central Florida Territory (Sarasota,Charlotte, DeSoto, Hardee, Highlands, Manatee, Pinellas Counties).

Strobes-R-Us is seeking a full-time EmergencyVehicle Equipment Sales Representative to be responsible for maintainingexisting, as well as cultivating new customer relationships. A successful sales rep will be able todemonstrate to a customer, high levels of product knowledge in the emergencyvehicle upfitting space. Responsibilities include meeting with private andgovernment customers to understand vehicle related upfit needs in order toprepare appropriate quotations for parts and labor.

Candidates must have one year of prior knowledge of either theemergency police and/or fire vehicle equipment industry and the manufacturerbrands associated with these vehicles. Requires travel to meet with customerson a regular basis and will attend several Florida trade shows per year.

Strobes-R-Us utilizes Salesforce software suite for trackingcustomer contacts and opportunities on a daily basis. Quotations are preparedin PLEX ERP software.

Position includes Laptop, Telephone, Take home DemonstrationVehicle used when visiting customers.

Qualifications:

• Exhibits high level ofcustomer service and support
• Personal drive to achieve. Must be ambitious and selfmotivated.
• Excellent communication skills. Both oral and written.
• Ability to work both independently and as a part of ateam
• 2 Years and more of Sales Experience
• Eager to learn and willing to listen
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Experience in building Emergency Vehicles preferred
• Knowledge of Police Equipment or Fire Equipmentpreferred
• Retired Law Enforcement or Fire Department Experience preferred

Requirements:

• Ability to read and follow written/verbal instructions
• This position requires high level of comfort withcomputers. Specifically, with Microsoft tools such as Teams, Word, Outlook and ability to learn new software quickly.
• MUST have a clean driving record and be able to pass abackground check & drug screening
• Candidate must reside within assigned sales territory.
• Full time position Monday Thru Friday. Minimum of threedays per week traveling and visiting with customers within assignedterritory.
• Expected turnaround time on quotes is 24-48 businesshours.
