Job summary

Aebi Schmidt Group is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for Southwest Florida (Sarasota area) to build and maintain relationships with customers in the emergency vehicle equipment space. You will understand upfit needs, present quotes for parts and labor, and travel within the territory to meet clients and attend Florida trade shows.

The role requires familiarity with Salesforce and PLEX ERP, plus travel readiness and a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• One year of prior knowledge of the emergency vehicle equipment industry.
• Experience with government and private sector customers in a B2B sales context.
• Willingness to travel across the territory and attend Florida trade shows.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and cultivate relationships with existing customers and develop new ones.
• Meet with customers to assess vehicle upfit needs and prepare quotations for parts and labor.
• Travel regularly within the Southwest/South Central Florida territory as required.

What you’ll do:

Emergency Vehicle Equipment - Outside Sales Representative

Southwest / South Central Florida Territory (Sarasota, Charlotte, DeSoto, Hardee, Highlands, Manatee, Pinellas Counties)

Strobes-R-Us is seeking a full-time Emergency Vehicle Equipment Sales Representative to be responsible for maintaining existing, as well as cultivating new customer relationships. A successful sales rep will be able to demonstrate to a customer, high levels of product knowledge in the emergency vehicle upfitting space. Responsibilities include meeting with private and government customers to understand vehicle related upfit needs in order to prepare appropriate quotations for parts and labor.

Candidates must have one year of prior knowledge of either the emergency police and/or fire vehicle equipment industry and the manufacturer brands associated with these vehicles. Requires travel to meet with customers on a regular basis and will attend several Florida trade shows per year.

Strobes-R-Us utilizes Salesforce software suite for tracking customer contacts and opportunities on a daily basis. Quotations are prepared in PLEX ERP software.

Position includes Laptop, Telephone, Take home Demonstration Vehicle used when visiting customers.

Qualifications:

• Exhibits high level of customer service and support
• Personal drive to achieve. Must be ambitious and self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills. Both oral and written.
• Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
• 2 Years and more of Sales Experience
• Eager to learn and willing to listen
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Experience in building Emergency Vehicles preferred
• Knowledge of Police Equipment or Fire Equipment preferred
• Retired Law Enforcement or Fire Department Experience preferred

Requirements:

• Ability to read and follow written/verbal instructions
• This position requires high level of comfort with computers. Specifically, with Microsoft tools such as Teams, Word, Outlook and ability to learn new software quickly.
• MUST have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check & drug screening
• Candidate must reside within assigned sales territory.
• Full time position Monday Thru Friday. Minimum of three days per week traveling and visiting with customers within assigned territory.
• Expected turnaround time on quotes is 24-48 business hours.
