Job summary

Shamrock Roofing & Construction in Overland Park, KS seeks an Outside Sales Representative for roofing and storm restoration. This commission-based, full-time role focuses on closing deals, generating own leads or following company-provided leads, and coordinating with an internal team to move projects through from sale to production.

You’ll visit homes, document roof conditions, and handle color selections, payments, and client communications.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated closer with the ability to generate and close leads.
• Strong face-to-face communicator who represents Shamrock at meetings.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Prior roofing, restoration, or door-to-door sales experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Generate opportunities using company-provided leads or door-knock to build your pipeline.
• Order measurement reports and document the roof with photos (including attic).
• Attend the insurance adjuster meeting on-site.
• Lead color selection discussions and collect the first payment.
• Support from the team: run the build day, material ordering, and on-site problem-solving.
• Assist with supplements, quality control, and the final walkthrough/final check.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Shamrock Nation is restructuring how we sell. We're taking the build, supplements, quality control, and collections off our sales reps' plates and putting our own production team behind them instead. If you're a closer who wants to spend your time selling instead of managing a job site, this role is built for you.

What You'll Own

• Generate the opportunity — work company-provided leads and/or door-knock to build your own pipeline.
• Inspection — order the measurement report and document the roof, including full CYA photos (attic included).
• Adjuster meeting — attend the insurance adjuster meeting on-site.
• Color pick & first check — walk the homeowner through material/color selections and collect the first payment.

what We Handle For You

• Running the entire build day, material ordering, and on-site problem-solving.
• Supplementing, quality control, and the final walkthrough/final check.
• All collections logistics once the job moves into production.
• Translation: no build-day fires, no chasing supplements, no QC disputes. You sell — we build.

compensation

• Company-provided leads = 20% Commission of job profit
• Self-generated leads = 30% Commission of job profit

Commission paid on job profit, not revenue. Top performers who move from full-cycle to sales-only volume typically clear well above their prior earnings once ramped up — ask us for the numbers at your interview

What We're Looking For
